Start with the Basic!
To every person that wants to learn sign language, I would recommend first starting with the alphabet. Learning the alphabet is vital for American Sign Language (ASL). Some signs actually will contain the letter initial to represent the sign.
Learn with a friend, creating a conversation using ASL is an efficient way to learn sign language.
There are plenty of online sites that can show you new signs. Pleas make sure they are Deaf Instructors!
